CASA Advocates Change Lives

Last year nearly 1300 cases of child abuse and neglect were investigated by the local Department of Social Services in Staunton, Waynesboro, Augusta County, Lexington, Rockbridge County, Covington and Alleghany County.

These children need powerful voices to speak for them. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a non-profit organization of volunteers who are voices for abused children in court.
